King of Coffee they called it and praised by coffee lover everywhere. It grown only at the eastern end of the Island of Jamaica, north of Kingston.
Coffee beans at Blue Mountain Peak (rising 7402 feet above sea level), take longer time to mature (up to 10 months from bloom to harvest) due cool and misty weather at high altitude.
Genuine Blue Mountain Jamaican Coffee costs about $40 a pound. So, beware of imitations. Make sure package is marked 100% Blue Mountain Jamaican Coffee or logo certified by Jamaican Coffee Industry Board.
